Aaaaarrrrgh! Audi’s dash-mounted Multi Media Interface (MMI) is just the thing for frazzled executives who didn’t get enough frustration at the office. Our recommendation: don’t operate this system while driving. Doing so is very dangerous because, to make it work properly, you need to consult the owner’s manual. Certainly, there must be an easy way to permanently cancel route guidance or remove icons from the map display, right? We never figured it out. It was hard enough switching back to English after we hit a wrong button when trying to agree with Audi’s lawyers and changed everything to Français.
