If the 2007 Nissan Sentra's build quality was less than great, the materials used in the process were only slightly better. The winners included mesh used for the headliner and to cover the visors, soft cloth on door inserts and seat bolsters, and a slightly rubberized for the dash cap and door sills. And then there were the losers. Fabric used on the center of the seats felt durable but also stiff, and it soiled easily. Hard plastics were abundant on the lower dash, center console, and the lower seats, while obviously mismatched grains came together at the junction of the A-pillars and the dash.
